The PECO SL86 is a large-radius curved right-hand turnout designed for OO/HO model railway layouts using PECO Streamline Code 100 track.
PECO’s Code 100 OO/HO system is designed to accommodate a wide range of wheel standards, with the rail profile allowing flange depths of up to 1.6 mm. This makes the range suitable for both older/vintage and current rolling stock.
The SL86 provides a curved route through the turnout, allowing modellers to create more flowing track formations and make efficient use of available layout space. The large-radius geometry is particularly useful where smoother curves are desired.
This version is the right-hand Insulfrog configuration.
