The PECO PL11 Side-Mounted Turnout Motor is a solenoid-operated point motor designed for the electrical operation of compatible model railway turnouts.
Unlike the concealed under-baseboard PL10 series, the PL11 is designed for side mounting alongside the turnout, making it a practical solution where access beneath the baseboard is limited or where a surface-mounted installation is preferred.
The solenoid mechanism provides positive movement between the two turnout positions when operated using a suitable momentary electrical pulse.
