ESU LokPilot 5 8-Pin NEM652 DCC/MM/SX/M4 – 11611 is a versatile multi-protocol digital locomotive decoder designed for H0 and 0 scale applications.
The decoder supports DCC, Motorola®, Selectrix® and M4 digital protocols, allowing it to work with a wide range of compatible digital control systems.
In DCC operation, it supports 14, 28 and 128 speed steps, 2- and 4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions. RailComPlus® allows automatic registration with compatible digital command stations.
The LokPilot 5 also features advanced motor control with adjustable PWM frequency from 10 kHz to 50 kHz, 5th-generation load control and an Autotune function for automatically calibrating the decoder to the motor.
It provides up to 1.5 A motor current and has overload protection for the motor and function outputs. The decoder can also operate on suitable analogue DC and AC layouts.
The 11611 version uses an 8-pin NEM652 interface. Modellbahn Union identifies the item as an ESU LokPilot 5 8-pin NEM652 DCC/MM/SX/M4 decoder.
