ESU LokPilot 5 DCC 8-Pin NEM652 – 59620 is a digital locomotive decoder designed for H0 and 0 scale locomotives equipped with an 8-pin NEM652 interface.
The LokPilot 5 DCC provides precise digital control of locomotive motors and functions while supporting the DCC digital command system. It supports 14, 28 and 128 speed steps, 2- and 4-digit locomotive addresses and up to 32 functions.
The decoder features 5th-generation load control, adjustable PWM frequency and a motor output capable of handling up to 2.0 A continuous current. It also includes overload protection for the motor output and function outputs.
The decoder supports features including RailCom®, ABC braking and shuttle operation, and is compatible with suitable DCC control systems.
The compact decoder measures approximately 21.4 × 15.5 × 4.5 mm, making it suitable for installation in many H0 and 0 scale locomotives.
