Woodland Scenics ST1415 contains 6 high-density foam 3% incline/decline starter pieces. Each rises or falls 0–1.9 cm over 60.96 cm for smooth track transitions.

Woodland Scenics 3% Incline/Decline Starters – 6 Pieces – ST1415 are high-density foam transition pieces designed to provide a smooth start when raising or lowering track through a model railway layout.
Each starter piece measures approximately 60.96 cm long × 6.35 cm wide and gradually raises or lowers the track from 0 to 1.9 cm (¾ inch) over 24 inches.
The six identical pieces can be used to start a 3% incline or decline and can also be combined with Woodland Scenics Incline Sets to create a continuous change in elevation.
The foam pieces are lightweight and easy to install. They can be pinned in position and secured using suitable foam-compatible adhesive such as Foam Tack Glue or Low Temp Foam Glue.
This product is particularly useful when creating multi-level layouts, ramps, bridges, tunnels, raised track sections and realistic gradients without having to calculate and construct the gradient from scratch.
