The PECO ST245 is the left-hand counterpart to the ST244 and is a curved turnout designed for OO/HO model railway layouts using the PECO Setrack Code 100 system.
The turnout combines 2nd and 3rd radius curves, providing a practical way to change routes while maintaining a curved track formation. This makes curved turnouts particularly useful for station approaches, yards, loops and layouts where available space is limited.
PECO’s Setrack system uses rigid unit track sections with solid nickel-silver rails moulded into the sleeper bases. Turnouts are fitted with an over-centre spring, allowing immediate operation without requiring an additional lever.
The ST245 is the left-hand version and has an 11.25° arc angle.
