PECO PL10 Turnout Motor
Requires a rectangular hole 40mm x 24mm when clipped directly to the underside of a PECO turnout.

The PECO PL10 Turnout Motor is a reliable solenoid-operated point motor designed to provide electrical control of model railway turnouts. The standard PL10 fits directly beneath compatible PECO turnouts, keeping the motor concealed beneath the layout for a neat and unobtrusive installation.
The PL10 uses a twin-coil solenoid mechanism to move the turnout from one position to the other when a short electrical pulse is applied. It can be operated using suitable analogue controls and can also be incorporated into digital/DCC accessory control systems with compatible equipment.
Installation requires a 40 mm × 24 mm rectangular opening in the baseboard when the motor is fitted directly beneath a PECO turnout. PECO also offers accessories such as adaptor bases and wiring harnesses for alternative installation and easier wiring.
The PL10 is the standard-pin version. For installations requiring a longer operating pin, the PL10E is the extended-pin alternative.
Please note: The PL10 is a solenoid motor and should be operated with a momentary pulse rather than continuous power. A capacitor discharge unit (CDU) is recommended for reliable operation.
