The PECO ST244 is a right-hand curved turnout designed for OO/HO model railway layouts using the PECO Setrack Code 100 unit trackage system.
This curved turnout combines 2nd and 3rd radius curves, allowing modellers to change routes while maintaining a curved track formation. Curved turnouts are particularly useful for making efficient use of available layout space and creating more compact track plans.
The Setrack system features rigid track sections with solid nickel-silver rails integrally moulded into the sleeper bases. PECO also fits its Setrack turnouts with an over-centre spring, allowing the turnout to be used without an additional lever.
The ST244 is the right-hand version of the curved turnout.
